primary care, at least, has has reached the point of where chronic illnesses are being fostered rather than treated. Why do you think so? I'm not sure I get it. Docs do not make people overeat and develop diseases or get depressed. Listing those problems as evidence of failure by primary care docs is simply incorrect. It would be interesting to understand what is it that causes neurotic and compulsive behavior.... but it ain't your family doc.
