Dave, RE:We are still confident that we can achieve the Q4 target of two million. Just my HO, but I think they might be reporting something that Baker said in Q2 or Q3. In the very least, this is a poorly written article. AMD has admitted that it won't hit K6 production targets for the second quarter in a row and that Q3 financial results are likely to be affected. Obviously, this is talking about the 4th quarter, not the third. Then it says, The company produced a million K6 chips during the quarter, Here its talking about the third quarter, but how would anyone figure that out? Another interpretation is that it is not totally impossible to produce 2 million K6's. How someone knows that in the UK but not in the US is a little mystifying though. Petz
