What does that even mean to you?

Fair question. My impression is that she is something like the cloth coat, main street Eisenhower conservatives of my youth on the fiscal side. That's not to be confused at all with today's brain dead doctrinaire "movement conservatives". As a for instance she would probably raise taxes to balance the budget. As another for instance she probably believes that government isn't the problem it's part of the solution.

On social issues (including some "wealth redistribution") she's fairly liberal with a pragmatic streak.

Now that's my impression. Remember I fell for the "compassionate conservative" in '00 so maybe I'm easily fooled.
