After many, many years of watching financial media trying to figure out what the market is going to do, I've come to the conclusion that most commentators and anchors have no more clue about what is happening than I do. After watching a media personality for a while, I can tell you what there take is going to be. They have a view and they stick to it regardless of what is happening in the market or the world. They are like puppets, you pull their string and out comes their script. And they will find anything they can to further what they are saying, regardless of the relevance of their argument.
There are few, very few, that seem to actually respond what what is happening in the world and change their views to reflect that. They may change from bullish to bearish or vice-versa.
Those that are perma-bulls or perma-bears are useless to me. I need someone who objectively interprets what is happening and come up with a view based on that. Those who are "perma-" only look for the things to forward their arguments, which is useless.
