Iran is currently caught in the headlights over their intention to stone to death a Muslim woman found guilty of adultery. International protests forced them to put the sentence on hold. Instead they're investigating how she managed to make her plight an international incident. No matter what happens in a Mideastern court it's apparently 'always the woman's fault'. It doesn't help that a judge merely has to 'feel' she's guilty in order to impose the death by stoning decree...no evidence necessary.

It was a major surprise, albeit welcome one that outcries were finally heard around the world on her behalf. Still in limbo what will ultimately happen to the woman.
