Can you not see how it is a huge problem for the federal govt to impose massive unfunded mandates on states that are already broke? (you'll have to pardon me for treating you with respect for a moment to pose a serious question; sometimes I forget who I'm talking to...) What I am seeing is a massive effort by certain states and their leaders to subvert the federal gov't. If it was happening under a R gov't, there would be threats of treason and jail time for those people talking like the way Rs are talking these days. Once again it goes back to the sense of entitlement Rs think they have in this country.
