2010 German Grand Prix at Hockenheim * Qualifying *

There was no rain, and Ferrari got oh so close.... (.002") but somehow Vettel managed to edge Alonso by an
almost-nothing-difference.... however, the Red Bull will be flanked by the two Ferraris of Alonso and Massa;
followed by Webber, and the Mclarens of Button and Hamilton, then the best of rest with Kubica in the Renault,
Barrichello in the ever imporving Williams, Rosberg in the Mercedes, (who again out-qualifies Schumacher),
and Hulkenberg in the other Williams

It was an event filled qualifying with Vitantonio Liuzzi crahsing heavily in the first session, coming out of the last
corner as he touched a puddle of water from the earlier rain, spinning and crashing heavily at the beginning of the pit wall.

Alonso dominated clealry in sessions 1 and 2, and he looked set to get the pole, however Vetel, in his last attempt, just
went faster by 0.002". Nevertheless, this is a weekend in which Ferrari has been outperforming from the start every one
else. This HAS to be Alonso's and Massa's opportunity to make some ground before distances begin to be impossible to
catch up.

Including tomorrow's race, there are 9 races to go in this championship, too early to declare 'clear advantages'. However,
it must be noted that the reason the two Mclarens are in the lead is primarily due to the Red Bull's lack of reliability, luck and
their own mismanagement of the never answer question when there are two clearly talented drivers in the same team: who is
driver # 1 ? every time the answer is: "there is no # 1 driver", this is bound to happen, hence, advantage the closest rival.
This time Ferrari will join the fight with excellent chances for a victory tomorrow. *notwithstanding another idiotic decision
by the race stewards, whose illogical rules have already gone against Alonso twice in a row....
