(sarcasm--better to delete). Still, getting hurt playing sports is not the same as exercise. I play tennis, golf, fish and hunt, and am no doubt wearing out parts doing it. Any activity wears out parts. Not exercising causes arteries to clog (in some cases). Anyway, there must be studies that take sides. Sports and exercise are a huge financial boon to "the system." Look how much economic activity is generated by all the sports and such. Even sitting on the couch drinking beer and eating chips is often generated by people watching sports.
