James, I've looked at Central Euro Fund...AFAIK it invests only 50% in "true" eastern euro markets and other 50% into Germany and Austria. German market has been flat so perhaps this explains persistent NAV discount of ~20%. As discussed on separate thread still looking at Emerging Telecom and/or Infrastructure funds. Also check out Jim Jubak's country-related articles in Worth magazine. He has written recently about: Canada (likes a lot; I should reread, actually); Africa (strong buy; I think Morgan Stanley Africa fund at a 22% discount) and Russia (just say "Nyet"). Mike
