OK, this seems pretty much just like the German law:
If you are born into the possibility of 2 citizenships, rules of which are given here, between age 18 and 22 you need opt for one of them.
My younger son, who was born in Germany with a Swedish passport from me and never has left Germany for residency anywhere else, had to decide for Swedish or German between 18-22.
Furthermore, in order to keep his Swedish he needed to prove that he still had essential ties to Sweden.
