Why can't this just be 'additional volume' that would not have occured otherwise, instead of damage to the stock? In fact, if this seller didn't move his shares between the bid/ask, he/she may have moved their ask to the bid, making it worse. Opinions (and flames) welcome. ... david ... PS: the grammar/spell thing was just an attempt at humor!
