From your post. Not the article you posted, your statement.

he link you just posted shows me QUOTING *YOU*

Not just that. That part is to give the context for your reply.

Your reply is "That claim is completely and utterly ridiculous when trends are examined over a longer term."

The claim that your saying is ridiculous is "The wealth continues to be transferred away from the wealthy, not to the wealthy."

If - "The wealth continues to be transferred away from the wealthy, not to the wealthy." - is ridiculous, then your saying its false. If its false it means that either no wealth is being transferred, or that its being transferred to the wealthy. But "ridiculous" goes beyond just "false", and makes the "no wealth has been transferred" interpretation untenable. So where left with you effectively saying that wealth has been transferred to the wealthy.

Again - If you say "X is ridiculous", and I say "how could you say 'not X'" its pretty silly to then say "I didn't say not X". Sure you didn't use that specific wording, but you made an essentially identical claim.

The claim is false, and the data you post in response (the chart which you have posted multiple times) is irrelevant. The chart doesn't show anything about transfers of wealth.
