Think back to the beginning of the Bush administration tax cuts. It seems almost impossible to believe, but the argument then was that the budget surplus was too large

I don't remember that argument at all.....No sensible person that I knew believed in the surplus, especially when it was accompanied by federal debt increases.

But paint it however makes you happy, Kenny....Lefty economics are not for the rational.
