I understand your view better now. Yes, the market is unkind even to the companies like SNDK reporting record earnings increases. The low valuation of SNDK, exemplified by the historic low P/E, however, is typical of valuations of other companies. It all comes down to investor confidence, and specifically, the confidence of institutional investors, who, because of the scale of their purchases and sales, exert most of the influence on stock prices.
