The additional benefit in investing China's companies which operate domestically is that the sales are in Yuan, the Chinese currency. The Yuan is undervalued, and when it is adjusted by the government, the sales figures will even better when they are converted into US Dollars.

Another example is Bidu which operates within China (for the time being), hence it get revenues in Yuan. And we have seen the appreciation of Bidu just this year alone, and especially after a split of 10 for 1.
