If the other consequences are global economic collapse, a little blowback is ok. There is no evidence that it would be severe. "No, I advocate early pain for long-term gain." Hmm. Gotcha. The Great Depression was just some early pain. And the unintended consequences, like WWII, was just some more of that... Funny how you think. "That makes a lot more sense than perpetually postponing the inevitable, supported by believers pushing a fantasy and telling everyone else to shut up." And there you go again, caught up in your fantasies and projecting them on others. There is nothing inevitable about an economic collapse. It usually takes some work.
