If the other consequences are global economic collapse, a little blowback is ok. There is no evidence that it would be severe.

Hmm. Gotcha. The Great Depression was just some early pain. And the unintended consequences, like WWII, was just some more of that...

And there you go again, caught up in your fantasies and projecting them on others. There is nothing inevitable about an economic collapse. It usually takes some work.
