Yes it is hard to believe. There's really quite a story here, and while the additional (AB) coverage helps a lot, I think it will take a relatively major contract announcement for the investor community to start really taking notice. Dean, if you're listening, please tell us when this mca will occur so we can have something to uh, er, write about here.

Maybe the few of us cheerleaders on this thread could take it upon ourselves to drum up interest. For example, politely introducing ATMI on (let's say) the AMAT thread; or on the TXN thread (continued collaboration angle).

In addition to badgering friends, relatives and innocent bystanders about ATMI, I recently emailed Eric Savitz @ Barron's about the company. Barron's has just (Oct) begun a new biweekly column by Savitz on Technology, called "Plugged In". (Amazingly I thought), got a reply kinda intimating that he would check it out (I don't really believe it, but you never know). As a happy coincidence, I had emailed him early am on earnings day, and lo and behold a couple hours after my email, the release came over the wires - the only point being that I think maybe now "ATMI" could stick in his mind.

In fact, I think I'll try to retrieve my emails to and from him and paste or link them here. He mentions some reference to characters on the X Files which I don't watch so I didn't get it; maybe someone here knows.

There are other things we could do also, like emailing brokerage houses. Does anyone know the name/addr of semi-equip sector analysts who are prominent?

Mike Harvey

P.S. Can't seem to cut and paste the emails from my aol Filing Cabinet, anyone know how? They're not THAT big of a deal, but after all we do seem to have a major content void on this thread, so I bet anything will do.
