Vegas is it, Volcker rule has been canceled. The age of the machines is back, and crash birds will have to wait until they run out of money - which may be soon, or not. Depends on QE. If Ben keeps the current game going, expect big inflation down the road, but not yet. Most certainly, US standard of living keeps deteriorating. The machines bought more time by crashing the dollar, and they sure keep hoping Ben will oblige, keep the game going, keep buying or placing their people in the government.
The whole Ponzi scheme is just way too enormous and global these days.
US needs some Tough Love economic medicine the IMF prescribed to emering market countries and a strong effort in financial system reform in particular. It's definitely missing. It will be reformed, mind you, but I will have my way eventually, that's how. The deciders are either too dumb or way too corrupt, or both. Either way they can't get their asses moving. -ng- |
