A balanced budget amendment is simple, common sense, but it does not need to have 100,000 pages of rules and exceptions attached to it! It simply needs to say that the federal government cannot spend more money than it takes in, period!

Of course, the Washington bastards would abuse something as simple as that. They would immediate say, "well, that could mean that we cannot spend more money that we will ever take in," or some such nonsense.

It needs to be clearly spelled out that the government must have the hard cash in the coffers before any outlays can be allocated.

Of course, such a direct stipulation can be abused too, because the bastards can simply print all the money they want!

On second thought, this is a nonsense discussion because the country is ruined beyond repair and further bureaucracy cannot neutralize the evil zombies in charge! -ng-

Yes, this will end very badly someday -- hopefully soon!
