Fred,

You keep ruining otherwise intelligent posts with absurd statements like "DOA" & "INTC has reduced AMD to rubble". AMD is alive and well as far as I know. ( I have no AMD stock ) If you want a DOA example from IBM's past look no further than PCjr. I think they've learned from that mistake that they have to deliver very functional devices and not toys.

As an investor in Intel you ought to take ANY threat to Intel quite seriously ! NC is a real threat, IBM and Oracle are gunning for Intel & Microsoft and I doubt they would have introduced the NC without giving a lot of thought to whether it made sense or not. Also consider that this is an INTRODUCTION, the NC will get faster & cheaper. IBM has a Division devoted to internet, they obviously see it as that important !

Lastly, I don't think Intel can get up to 120 until the rest of the industry recovers. Investors tend to rush into groups, and semi's are out of favor for a while despite Intel being the cream of the crop. Recent estimates I've seen place us only half way through this correction.

Regards, Maurice
