It doesn't say anything except some vague general notion about centrist governance. No proposal for how healthcare and spending should have been handled, no proposals for other key topics pending like energy, just do "something" different and better.

At this level, I think Cost's proposal is even more thoughtless. Because, at least on healthcare and climate change, he did precisely this: occupy the space previously held by the right wingish moderate portion of the Rep caucus. He proposed, essentially, Mitt Romney's health care proposal; and his cap and trade proposals were John McCain's in the last campaign.

Cost creates a straw person.
