The NBA has salary cap. The Heat timed the free agency of Lebron so they had the money. Also Bosh, Wade and Lebron took pay cuts to play together. So there was some left over for additional players. You should be mad at major league baseball. There is a salary cap but you can exceed it if you pay a luxury tax which the Yankees are more than happy to pay because they have the money (big market)
