I feel so sorry for children with same sex parents. It's wrong for a child to have to deal with that.

I dunno, since many of those kids are adopted, I would say that ending up in a loving home of two same gender parents is better than the alternative of ending up in foster care until they are 18.

My son has two friends who both have two moms. One of the kids is a bit of a jerk, but certainly no more so than some of the other kids. The other one is actually a really nice kid who is being raised in a very conventional way, except for the fact that he has two moms.

People once (and maybe still) said that they feel sorry for kids of racially mixed parents because they are rejected by both races. I have a niece and nephew who are mixed and they are perfectly accepted by family and friends.

I have gay friends who have extremely conservative values right up to the point where they are rejected by those who have similar values where it counts. What someone does in their own bedroom is their own business. And I'll take a gay man or woman who believes in personal responsibility and small government over a straight progressive any day of the week.
