Hi all:

I have owned shares in QNTM since September of 1995. I don't understand why everyone is so unhappy about the downward move with regard to WDC's announcement. How often do you get a chance to buy a good company at a bargain price. Anyway, unless you are a day trader you shouldn't be concerned with the price fluctuations. Long time followers of this stock know that these hiccups in the share price are common. The only reason to be concerned is if you think that DLT is suddenly going to go away, or maybe the new Bigfoot drives are going to be dropped by a major OEM. Since none of these things seem to be happening, you should just forget about it until you actually need the $$.

Also, I think we might get 1 more oppurtunity to buy in the high 20's due to Read-Rite's announcement on friday evening. I plan to buy more on Monday. Good luck to all the longs, the early MR transition for QNTM will pay off for the stockholders in mid January when QNTM announces good earnings. The biggest problem i see for QNTM is what to do with the high end business.
