Maurice, All, Following is a good example of how Intel can "add value" to existing PC's format rather than NC's:

9/10/96 Intel Develops New LANDesk Tech For Corporate Networks

HILLSBORO, ORE. (Dow Jones)--Intel Corp. (INTC) developed a new LANDesk technology for corporate computing networks.
In a press release, Intel said the new technology enables the remote configuration of operating systems and other software for new PC installations and upgrades.
Scheduled for release later this year, the company said the new LANDesk product will enable information technology departments to efficiently deploy uniform desktops across an organization. It enables administrators to configure new PCs without having to install software manually at each user workstation.
The Intel LANDesk product will be available from Intel's network of distributors and value-added resellers. Prices were not immediately available.

Wonder what Microsoft thinks, seems it almost encourages illegal copying of software.
