Addi, fear and greed may have been popular explanations of the fall of Ascend price when it was hovering at 40, but now that things have unfolded we see it was a well-deserved correction, and one that should have occurred back in February. 3Com is probably falling due to upcoming earnings downgrades, and we should expect further downgrades in many sectors. For a networking play I would look for cheaper bargains on the long side -xyln at 10-14, asnd at 15-18 - and balance with a short (ASAP) on Cisco ride from 84 to 60. JMO. I don't have a guess for 3com. Greg
