They were about his prison guards. But if a black guy assaults me, or rapes me, do I get to call him the N word? No I don't- at least not without quite a bit of negative commentary from others. Racial slurs are racial slurs- and you don't get a "pass" because of what happened to you. There may be reasons for why you might use bigoted language, but (at least for me) that's never an excuse. Maybe it's an excuse to your way of thinking, in which case I must say I do not approve of that way of thinking. And adopting a child somehow makes up for using racial slurs? How disconnected and illogical do things get?
