We now have the odd situation where posting actual, accurate quotes from politicians is considered hateful if those quotes reflect badly on the speaker. They said it, they can stand by it. Launching personal attacks in response to pointing that out is a clear personal attack intended to intimidate those who would publish critical items. A pretty transparent ruse, IMHO.
