Nonsense. There is absolutely no support for that statement outside the babbling of some nutjobs. Just look at the facts. While the Great Depression affected a lot of countries, those with New Deal-like policies did the best. Those who engaged in more traditional austerity measures did the worst.

You continue to ignore Morgenthau's remark. Yet, FDR himself escalated Morgenthau's role in the administration over its entire term based, surely, on FDR's own confidence in his understanding of these issues.

Your argument, aside from being ridiculous tired and vague and meaningless, has been shown time and again to be totally without foundation. We were engaged in a "WORLD" war that kept countries afloat in the same way government spending programs of the New Deal did here in the 30s.

You obviously don't understand the coincidence involved, but there is so much you miss, it is isn't surprising.
