steve - Pentium bug It took 4 1/2 years for somebody to stumble across the fact that a weird, undefined sequence of opcode instruction, IF FORCE FED INTENTIONALLY into an instruction stream, will bring down a Pentium. That puts this into a category of intentional virus contamination. These things can be dealt with by the various Virus screening utlilities that, when appropriately updated, will flag any occurrence of this force fed bug. Paul
