I have challenged the necessity for additional tests...There is no doubt in my mind that additional testing is primarily to generate cash and not for defensive purposes... Ordinarily, when done appropriately, the purpose for doing additional testing is not for money or for lawyers, but rather for diagnostic needs...... but you are right - if they cannot make a simple and clear case for additional testing, perhaps they do not have... a good case. When it comes to dentists, must admit that I too, like you, have my doubts. But, sorry to say, I also have doubts about my plumber. (edit - and my Congressman... -g)
