"If we can't take this little step of raising taxes on the "top 2 percent of Americans," then we're doomed." Why is anyone even QUESTIONING doing this? Jeez, the "top 2% of Americans" have been getting the lions share of the tax breaks for the last decade! Not only did Bush never cut any spending or veto any appropriations, he started 2 dumbass foreign wars OFF BUDGET that we're still unwinding.
