This is one really stupid article in that the main argument is that SS is fine because the Federal Govt always makes good on it's debts. The debts are beyond ridiculous and if revenues don't turn around, guess what there is always a first time for a default or a devaluing of the currency, or more likely not providing the benefits promised, when promised (e.g. changing the rules, reducing benefits). Past performance is no indicator of future performance period.
