>>It just so happens that Carl Marx said that after a revolution then communism should be administered by a dictatorial plutocracy.<<

that was to work for the good of the common man.

*never happened*.

>>Then later when it is running smoothly and its success obvious to everybody, then it should become a democracy.<<

the lives of the plutocrats were quite nice at the expense of the people - which was their goal.

>>The problem is that those dictators never could figure out how to make it run smoothly.<<

they never tried. their goal was, is and will be to take advantage of the citizenry in order to increase their own power, control and wealth.

>>And if they did I doubt they would give up power.<<

they never tried to help the collective, but they did slaughter tens of millions of them to protect their power, control and wealth AT THE EXPENSE OF THE PEOPLE.

which was my original point.

power corrupts. absolute, centralized power corrupts absolutely.

it was a quick process to enslave the citizens of "communist" countries because everything was centralized up front.

our republic has been a bit more difficult for these people to subdue... they have had to work hard to subvert the constitution and centralize power and wealth...

...and enslave the citizenry.

the process isn't complete... yet.
