Your post illustrates my point perfectly. I'm not arguing against French and English literature majors.

My argument is against the edifice that promotes them just to sustain itself.

It's just as objectionable as those loan brokers that set up unsuspecting young people in student loan programs that sink them like a stone tied around their neck after they've graduated.

Your sons are making more at the get go than I did at the end of my career, and I had a practical education.

The problem was, for all practical purposes my profession was driven out of existence by people who had nothing better to do than interfere with the lawful rights of others.
