Have you seen a college history test lately ?

my son was studying with some of his math pals for a test in his dorm/apartment. when his room mate cry out. They went into his room and ask what the problem was. he was taking an online open book/internet test and the question was( not exactly but it was close to it) ' what country was FDR President of' the kid said what BS who would know this.

My son and his friends were studying for a math class that never had a real number in it all year and this kid was going nuts over a question like this.

each summer my son takes elective history courses on line from MD, the grades don't count towards his GPA only pass fail and since he has dyslexia this helps him( although he has aced all 4 course over the least 3 years, they are so easy).

one of the ten questions on this years final on his 400 lvl history course. which was a multiple choice.,was 'which newspaper is called the 'newspaper of record'

the choices were

Mother Jones
The New York Times
The Village Voice
Pravada
