Theo - thoughtful commentary. some thoughts of my own. the original time frame was 7-10 days. you are correct. some people at accsys unfortunatelly got a bit excited and began promising news in a day or two (including Damian) before probably realizing what it takes to complete a news release when other parties are involved. Expectations were not out of line given the sense of immediacy conveyed by Accsys. the problem is that accsys commented at all about when news was coming. they should have said "we cannot comment about the date of release at this point except to say that the tournament in December is definitely on target." would have helped I think. one problem that I do see is that while they need to focus on the tourney, they do need to focus on the shareholders as well to some extent for 2 reasons: 1) most shareholders are once bitten, twice shy. They were anticipating news and didn't get it. Many watched their purchase drop from the high .30s to the low .20s. Many of these people were probably inexperienced penny stock investors. They will now NOT invest in Accsys nor will they recommend it to friends. In failing to release news as promised, we burned some shareholders who will now never invest in this stock again. It was a great window of opportunity to impress these new shareholders and instead, we lost some of them. The good news is that I am as IMPRESSED AS HELL at how few we apparently lost. The strength of Accsys was quite incredible that, on no news, it returned right back to its recent high of .35. MMs went bottom fishing and found no sellers. No shakeout. We returned promptly to .35. That is an excellent sign. Excellent. 2. Building the stock price up and being concerned about keeping current investors on in the very short term can be significant. If this stock moves quickly to .75, accy will be able to offer significantly LESS stock to the players than they would have to at .25. This will limit share dilution. so I agree, shareholders are not the highest priority but they ARE a priority. I am still long (WAY LONG) with over 200,000 shares (10% of the float). I don't advertise that for any other reason than to comfort people that some individuals (I know a few others) have accumulated a very large percentage of the float and, therefore, when accy makes its run, it could and should be breathtaking as a result of a tight float to begin with that has been accumulated heavily recently. I believe the news will be outstanding, even if delayed a bit and look forward to a very successful, elite tournament. Damian and David are gods in the industry and can pull this off. See y'all at the finish line.
