Telvent to Implement Light Rail Priority System in Algeria finance.yahoo.com The Project Will Enable a Reduction in Light Rail Travel Times and the Secure Coordination of System Interaction With City Traffic Interaction ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 10, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Telvent (Nasdaq:TLVT), announced today the award of a contract with Isolux-Corsan, involving Enterprise Metro d'Alger as the end customer, to implement the Telvent SmartMobility(TM) Light Rail solution for the new light rail system in the Algerian city of Oran. The new light rail system, comprising 32 stations along its 18-kilometer route, is scheduled to begin operating by 2011.
