Why take $2 away in taxes, why not take it all? Still got the $10 increase in value right. Doesn't spending money at your local store do more good for the total economy than putting the same amount of money into the stock market? No. Without capital (money into the stock market) the great companies wouldn't exist, we'd be in a feudal system.
