I remember Sanders saying in the Q2 conference call that he expected all production to be 0.25 micron by the end of calendar '97. So this can't be the schedule you are referring to. Which one do you mean?

We can only _hope_ that AMD will figure out how to make this stuff before socket 7 doesn't exist any more. And all hope so far has been in vain.

It's also not apparent that the Alpha slot 1 will exist when AMD needs it for K7. Do you have any opinion on whether Intel can and will squash it, given it's new relationship with DEC?
