I think teachers need to be tested and rated on job performance. Why shouldn't they be different from most Americans, who slide by by doing as little as possible on the job? After all, they make a lot less money. <G>

On the less and fewer question, I would not worry about it with the chemistry teacher. I would worry more if the English teacher didn't understand proper usage.
