I don't think its any of your business ..

Yeah, we both have an opinion, but its out of bounds for ME to have mine.

You can have all the opinions you want. That's not the problem. The problem is you all want NYC to do what you want.

And btw I don't have an opinion. Whatever NYC decides to do is fine with me.

A majority of New Yorkers are against the mosque.

52%. Hardly a significant plurality. Nearly as many are for it.

Do you know why he used the term, Cordoba Initiative? If not, you might want to find out the significance of Cordoba.

I know the Cordoba Caliphate was a Muslim kingdom in formerly Christian Spain. As such it was a further advance of Islamic rule into countries that were Christian. So that name makes sense.

Cordoba is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. It was built by Muslims as the Islamic era peaked in its advancement. It is an era that is considered very progressive and advanced......and one encouraging peace. When it was the capital of the Cordoba Caliphate, it was the largest and most advanced city in all of Europe.

The city is still beautiful today:

Non-Muslims had to pay special taxes in order to be tolerated. The Cordoba Caliphate raided the Christian kingdoms remaining in northern Spain, looting them or forcing them to pay tribute to avoid looting.

"State-sponsored raids into neighbouring Christian kingdoms were very lucrative throughout the history of the Caliphate. Through the early years, tribute payments were made to Córdoba to guarantee safety. ..... Taxes implemented on Jews and Christians living within the Caliphate were another source of income."

LOL. Poor Christians. No one loves them.
