It's a mistake to apply your personal inclinations to the population as a whole. For everyone who refuses to complete the long form, there are 10 others who will. Thereby statistical validity of data is maintained. Most people understand their anonymity will be maintained. They also recognize duties of citizenship in a functioning democracy. Jim
