I agree. Digitimes continues to have rather bipolar comments on PC related demand. All in all, most tech production out of asia seems to be running near capacity, but there is clearly some speed bumps of recent, and I suspect some issues with inventory partly due to the recent near capacity constraints resulting in double ordering for components, while the euro gyrations do seem to have impacted things as well.

However, it is clearly going to be a banner year for Intel, and AMD is not doing to bad either. NVDA looks to be headed for trouble, and they are in a difficult position going forward in the PC space, but at least they have woken up to ARM in the gadget space. AMD needs to so as well, or perhaps NVDA will pull a rising Phoenix stunt and AMD will end up in ashes.

Regarding JPM, I'd like to know that there was no insider trading off that. A couple days ago there was hugh volume in AMD aug 8 puts. I'd like to know who was involved and what they knew.
