PC's have new competitors, smart phones and tablet computers, as well as slightly older competitors, net books.

This will be the first back to school and Christmas seasons where both new competitors will be significant factors.

I certainly think "falling off a cliff" should be replaced by quantitative measures, both historical and seasonal, and some attempt to relate these measures to expectations for the new competitors during these two important shopping seasons.
