Not you didn't just say that, nor is your current statement the same or similar, or something that has a similar meaning.

Tax cuts are "affordable" even without reducing spending. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they don't have a negative fiscal impact, but their overall net "cost" to the economy is negative, meaning they produce a net benefit, a positive effect. The only cost is the spending.

Note that point has no connection whatsoever with "deficits don't matter", so the last part of your post is irrelevant to the point.
