Yup, to all. Not too far left...just thinks the entire country is there with him.
I remember when I got out of school and into the general population. I'm thinking I'm fairly moderate, cuz during the Free Speech Movement, the libs are getting arrested and striking, and the jocks are throwing eggs, and I'm like picketing between classes and not sitting in cuz my father would stop paying for school, so I'm like in the middle. Then, during Nam, I'm only marching and serving on first aid teams at rallies like after Kent State...no draft card burning, no firebombing, no disrupting draft boards...a good kid. Then I get out and around people, like my parents and their friends, some who were running the county McGovern offices, and around the hospital union (AFSCME), and it's like "damn, where is everybody? I'm out here by mice elf."
The whole country is like me? McGovern took Mass, DC, SF, and my office...South San Fran/Daly City/Brisbane. That's it.
