I did not say Trade Centre was a place of worship.

No but you did say "The Trade centre was America's economic heart... kind of like a capitalist place of worship."

You also said "Freedom of religion even if it gets you killed.", which is similarly irrelevant to the legal issues surrounding the placement of this Mosque.

I did not say they wanted to build their mosk on the exact Trade Centre site.

You did say "I'm curious do you support the mosk at " Ground Zero " where so many Americans died at the hands of islamic terrorists?", despite the fact that it isn't going to be located there just near by. Others discussing this issue in other venues have said that it would be at this site. There seems to be some misunderstanding out there about the location. I was not sure if you had shared that misunderstanding. (I did when I first heard about it, because I believed the statements that where being made about the situation.) One of your statements seemed to indicate that you did, the other that you did not. I didn't care too much about what you thought about that specific point of fact. The point I was making was not "Lorne believes the Mosque is proposed for the WTC site", but rather just "It is not proposed for the site".

I think "at the site" vs "close", is a very important distinction. Special restrictions on the specific site are more appropriate than applying restrictions over a square mile or more.
