Even if everyone gets "tough" and they deport 200-300K illegals next year, that is maybe 1.5-2.5% of the entire illegal problem.

It's just a lot of fuss and nonsense over nothing, in real policy terms. The only noticeable result of the threatened AZ policy was to drive some illegals to other states. BFD.


People feel threatened. And that can't be ignored.

We won't "fix" immigration until policy is realigned with economic reality.

I think we may have to relook at our entire immigration policy. If the US can expect slow growth going forward, we may want to rethink are how many legals we let into the country.
