Could that be because over 1........ Well of course there is a widening gap between the haves and have nots and yes demand has been crippled because of unsustainable spending rates. But how do you get people to spend more money than they can afford to pay back? According to your logic...... my logic? Hardly. No one is saying we need to be vigilant about inflation rates because of low interest rates now. Many though believe we need be vigilant about inflation because of the printing of money. The history of this is clear - print money and you get can easily destroy a currency . (Unless of course it is based on something tangible like gold).
